Being in two different, and far away, states my friend and I counted down the new year together over the phone.
I was awkward as ever, and inside my head worrying desperately over waking my friend's family up. ( as they were already gone to bed. )
Though awkward as it always is, we watched the count down. I watching the ball drop on the computer, and he on his TV.
Sadly both of us did not have time down correctly.
My computer clock told me it was already new year. The count down on my video said it was only at 45,
and my friend was starting at the 10.
There for... Our happy New Year was a little late... And quite a failure.
Alone in my room I sat, laughing at our stupidity, tipping my glass of bubbles in a cheers, and having one
of my most cherished New Years ever.
